three oaks behavioral healthblog
The Three Oaks Behavior Health is a behavioral health practice I learned from a therapist who worked with young women. She shared the practice with me and helped me understand how it works. The three levels of awareness I describe above are the three levels of self-awareness. The first level is the level of awareness that I mentioned earlier. I think most of us have a level of awareness that allows us to handle life more or less on autopilot.
The third level of awareness is the level of awareness that we’re all aware of from the highest level of awareness. It’s the level you’re able to handle life more or less on autopilot and you can start doing the things you’re good at, but you also have to get it right.
I have found that it is pretty simple to get right at the third level of awareness. For instance, I have a habit of giving myself a drink of water when I’m feeling thirsty. So if I get thirsty, I can just take a drink of water. My body is able to do this because it is able to sense when I’m hungry. My brain is also able to do this because it has been programmed that the right thing to do is to get a drink of water.
This is an important point. We all have this habit of giving ourselves a drink of water when we are thirsty. We have probably had this belief ever since we were kids and we believe it to be true. But its actually a pretty crappy habit to keep. The reason it is a crappy habit is because when we give ourselves a drink of water we are not actually giving ourselves the water that we need. We are just giving ourselves the water to feel better.
It’s a bit like saying, “I need a drink of water to feel good and therefore I’m getting a drink of water.” The fact is that we are actually not actually giving ourselves any water to feel good. We are just giving ourselves the water to feel better. And the reason we are giving ourselves the water that we are getting is because this habit is pretty awful. It’s not that we are giving ourselves the water that we need.
Of course we are giving ourselves the water. We are making the water we are getting. But why? Well, there are a lot of reasons. If we are giving ourselves the water that we are getting, then we are giving the water that we need. But if we are putting ourselves under constant fear, then we are giving ourselves the fear that we need.
The human body craves water from food, but water from the air is even worse. When the body is deprived of water, its energy levels drop and it’s hard to stay alert. Water from the ground is of course far more available, but when we don’t have enough of it, we can only survive for so long before we begin to feel like we are drowning. The water that we find ourselves constantly drinking is not very good for the body at all.
The human body is capable of great ingenuity when it needs to, but when it is under constant stress, it can become seriously impaired. When we are under constant fear, we can become so overwhelmed by our fear and the consequences of our actions that we give up the ability to use our body’s natural defenses. This is particularly true for the brain, which is constantly under the constant influence of our emotional responses.
The problem with alcohol is that it is a source of stress. Our brains have to constantly assess our situation and our ability to cope. When we drink, we are not only making those assessments but also the information about our ability to cope is being transmitted. The more alcohol we drink, the greater the stress. In a similar way, when we have poor health, we may be exposed to more toxins in our environment.
Alcohol and drugs also play a role in our emotional state. When we are stressed, our brain is in a heightened state and this stress is being transmitted to other areas of our body. In the case of stress, the stress hormone cortisol is released into the bloodstream. The hormones cortisol, adrenaline, and melatonin are all produced in our brains and these hormones are released when we are in a state of stress.
