I was recently on a yoga retreat, and all of the yoga instructors did a pose called “bird dog,” which is a cat-on-a-dog position. I felt pretty darn good because I was doing a cat-on-a-dog pose. What was different about this yoga pose is that it was about a dog and a cat, and it was kind of difficult to do.

My guess is that yoga practitioners will do a bird dog pose in order to get themselves in better position to do their dog pose, which is the cat-on-a-dog position. If you don’t want to do a bird dog pose, you can just imagine that you’re doing a dog pose.

After a few minutes, it turns out that when you do a bird dog pose, the bird dog is a dead cat, so you need to be pretty careful with your pose.

It might take a little practice, but you can do this pose with a cat and a dog, and it can help you get into a comfortable position to do the yoga pose. If you do it right, you might even be able to do it without a cat. But then again, you might be able to say, “This is a really difficult yoga pose: one thing wrong, we can’t get in any position to do it”.

For those who don’t know, the bird dog pose is a cat-dog pose in which you lay down on your back with both elbows pointing forward and the top of your feet pointing down. This position puts a lot of pressure on your back and shoulders so you have to keep a tight grip on your thighs if you want to keep your balance. It’s a good way to get your abs tightened and give you a good core workout.

It might seem like a weird pose for a yoga class, but I had a great time with the yoga teacher, Emily, who helped me with a few of the poses, and I think this one is a good example of how a simple, easy pose can be a total workout.

I have a strong suspicion that the back-releasing “bird dog” pose is a variation of the pigeon pose (see this page), which is one of the five “breathing” poses.
